Firebirds Wood Fired Grill
We found ourselves in Alpharetta recently and the smell of a wood fired grill caught our attention from a mile away. Letting our noses do the work, we wandered into Firebirds Wood Fired Grill at 2665 Old Milton Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30009 The Atwater (Across from the Avalon)
As we have written before we are bar people, so we headed directly to this beautiful bar with thousands of dollars of whisky on display (see image top of this page.)
Our bartender Taylor was very information about Firebirds and served up some good pours of a crisp, cool Chardonnay.
The smell of the wood fire grill was amazing, and we could see the open kitchen and large flames from the bar.
A very large jar of pineapple slices (see image) got our attention.
Taylor explained this massive jar is where they further infuse their pineapple vodka with pineapples for Firebirds Signature Martini – The Double Black Diamond. Taylor prepared a taste us – crazy good! Beware – it is pure alcohol and should be sipped very slowly!
The food we ordered was excellent and we enjoyed the ambience of the bar and lobby area for some time waiting on our late afternoon ball game to start. By the way there are ample TVs around the bar.
All in all, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is highly recommended. See you there.
